Customization

I’d like to see services that allow a degree of customization over the user interface. Everyone has their preferences and there are a lot of things I’d like to rearrange on services that I already use.

I want to see the type of customization that I have with my browser or desktop on the web. I invest a lot of time in my settings and it could be a form of defensibility. I’m certainly not leaving firefox anytime soon— I have everything just the way I like it (and I feel lost when I use someone else’s version). It’s the same with the mac. Everyone has different hot corners, etc.  Let me make a web service my own. I’m dying to get that chance.
